Trail Run Everyday

Trail running is awesome. Nature, hills, dirt and smiles are just a few things that come to mind when you hit the trails to log some mileage.

A popular question we get, especially as athletes train for our Timberview Trail Run that takes place in August, is if they can trail run everyday. The short answer, yes.Β

Trail running can be a great way to strengthen your feet, lower legs and give you good aerobic variations in your workout. The pacing of pavement running can get boring at times or cause you to feel stagnant if you’re often or always running on it.

As a recommendation, limit your mileage and pacing if you plan to run on the trails more frequently. Allow your legs, lungs and heart some time to adapt to the variations with constant trail running.
