Training and racing can be tough and lonely paths sometimes. Not just because of all the hours put in, sets you tackled or miles you logged – but because you have to do it alone. Having training partners and friends that keep you motivated can be important. Finding YOUR path and YOUR motivation is even more important though.

What’s driving you to race? What’s your motivation for your next race or hard run session or even the next step in front of you? Friends, family, co-workers, training buddies – whoever your circle may be can only give you so much input. You have to make the final decision and choose what works for you, your life and your goals.

Feeling confident when training, racing or just going through life is important. Finding your self worth is important. Knowing your value is important – even if it means going “against” the herd at times.
