Mental Positivity and Your WHY As An Athlete

Today’s entry is another MENTAL one. Yes…your mind is powerful in many many ways.

What’s ONE thing you’ve given up as an athlete?

A certain food? A type of exercise? Extra sleep? Time with friends? Time in front of the TV? A negative attitude?

Take some time during your next training session…toss on a song that is instrumental with as few (or no words) as possible and dive deep into this question. How does that make you feel? Was giving up this one thing something you view positively or negatively?

We all have reasons for why we are an athlete. We all have reasons for how intense of an athlete we are. What is driving you?
