SPRINT TRIATHLON – DUATHLON – AQUABIKE – AQUATHLON

The Swim: 750 Meters – SINGLE Loop: Great clear water and well placed buoys! Athletes will swim a SINGLE LOOP around 4 total buoys (3 red and 1 yellow) before returning to the swim-in arch on shore and heading up to transition. Water temperatures can vary, but expect a comfortable swim as we estimate 65-70 degree surface temps. SUP WAVE will go LAST to ensure no overlap.

The Bike: 10 Miles – TWO Loops: This bike course is a unique challenge. The center road section is smooth and fast. Heading north before the turn around will take place on the bike paths that run parallel to the park road. At the north end turn around riders will get back on the main park road to head south. The south end is a mix of normal aged road and quick turns.

The Run: 3.1 Miles – SINGLE Loop: This run is action packed! Leaving transition through the run out chute you’ll head back towards the water for approximately 100 feet. You’ll then turn right onto the wide and well paved pedestrian paths. Follow all athlete BLACK & YELLOW signs as you wind through this course. A little break on your feet comes at around mile 1.5 when you turn off road along the water’s edge trail.

SUPERSPRINT TRIATHLON

The Swim: 450 Meters – SINGLE Loop: Great clear water and well placed buoys! Athletes will swim a SINGLE LOOP around 2 total buoys (1 red and 1 yellow) before returning to the swim-in arch on shore and heading up to transition. Water temperatures can vary, but expect a comfortable swim as we estimate 65-70 degree surface temps.

The Bike: 4.6 Miles – SINGE Loop: This bike course is a unique challenge. The center road section is smooth and fast. Heading north before the turn around will take place on the bike paths that run parallel to the park road. At the north end turn around riders will get back on the main park road to head south. The south end is a mix of normal aged road and quick turns.

The Run: 2.1 Miles – SINGLE Loop: This run is action packed! Leaving transition through the run out chute you’ll head back towards the water for approximately 100 feet. You’ll then turn right onto the wide and well paved pedestrian paths. Follow all athlete BLACK & YELLOW signs as you wind through this course. PLEASE TURN at all designated run course signs and pay attention for special “SUPERSPRINT ONLY” signs.

**Athletes are responsible for knowing the course routes, layouts and directions. We do our best to adequately mark courses, provide direction and station volunteers throughout the course.

***PLEASE NOTE***
  • The bike & run courses are subject to route adjustments pending the Park plans. As of March 15th, 2024, they are accurate.
  • Additional mobile toilets (“porta potties”) will be on site in the transition area parking lots for athletes and spectators.
  • The bike course will NOT have plastic water bottles at the aid station. Instead, there will be large water jugs you can refill your water bottle with, if needed. As this is a relatively short bike course we ask athletes to bring their own water bottle(s) with their bike. This helps reduce waste produced at this event.
  • The run course will pass the same aid station twice and there will be cups of water & electrolyte drink available. These cups are 100% biodegradable to help keep our race as “green” as possible.
